Orange arena data?

Not looking for flame bait.....just curious.  Are the numbers working out?

I personally prefer the Blue arena (and sometimes Mid and Early).  I am finding it frustrating to be limited in where I can attack, but that's cool, I have options.

I certainly don't have all the data, but I notice Blue seems to more heavily populated most times I am on. (Evenings, weekends).

Hey Talon!

You know, I've been noticing lately that Blue will fill to cap before Orange hits 50-60 players. Then, as soon as the overflow fills up in Orange enough to raise the Cap in Blue, People leave Orange and refill Blue.

It also seems that a lot of the novelty of the EW and MW arena's have worn off...I'll log on, and see less than 20 people in each arena.

If you look at EW and MW there are a few honest people who enjoy those arenas. The majority are in there milkrunning or buffing their rank by hitting strats.

yes your right about that. too bad, imo midwar has a really well balanced
plane set. for the first 6 weeks after the arena split i flew nothing but the
MW and sometimes EW. i had hoped that eventually more folks would
give them a try but have pretty much given up on that idea. got to the
point where when i logged on there were less than 25 in MW and less in EW.
hate to give up on MW but such small turnout is killing it for me.

Last Night I logged into the Orange Arena around 9pm EST and there were 120 Rooks, 55 Knights, and 70 Bish.

Logged into Blue, 115 Bish, 65 Knights and 40 Rooks.

Tells me one thing, you're either ganging or getting overrun.

Yes, its a pity really. Those arenas had great potential.


But i have to admit, i rarely frequent them any more, for above reasons - so i guess im just as much to blame that there are no fights to be found in there then anyone else. But i just cant get myself to wait hours for someone to log in that wants to fight too. (added difficulty since im Euro time zone, ie off peak).

I think the objective was to prove that period-specific arenas won't fly.

I thought the idea was to prove that no matter what setups were added, the players would find a way to muck it up, and that's why they're going to kept on short leashes from now on.

What's wrong with that? Those people had a choice to go where they wanted and that's how it ended up. Why force them to go where they don't want to?
