it is quite ironic that i dont actually want the B-29, yet my name appears in each thread requesting it.

and now we have got it, i cant stand it, i will hate the impact it will have in AH.

Didn't the B29 have a fiendish gunnery computer system with remote-controlled guns? Would this mean that the Aces High B29 would have auto-ack, or would the gunner use a kind of bombsight modification to aim, rather than jumping into turrets?

It won't have either because HTC has stated they aren't putting the plane in the game.

I WISH we had them, it would be an interesting inspiration for more people to bomb, but I can just see some n00b thundering 5 feet over the trees, carpet bombing TT, and bailing out.

Actually, I wish they would add the B-29 so that I could spend my days hunting the noobs that actually up the lumbering beast in a LW arena thinking that they can actually get to a target without climbing to 25K+ in the lumbering 70 ton beast. The LW arenas aint the IJAAF folks - we got fighters that can catch a B-29 at altitude.

Take up a man's bomber - the B-17 - and fight your way to a target.

Not true, perhaps you are thinking of nukes. We won't be doing those. The B-29 was one of the first planes mentioned when the perk system was announced. If it wasn't such a big time-intensive project, there's a good chance it would be in the game already.
