ADSL and Probably Cable Modems

this has been verified by a Friend of mine. If you have a situation where you loose your connection look and see if you have any lights that have dimmers on them in your house anywhere in the house then turn them either off or all the way on. The transmit a high frequency noise that disrupts the DSL service. So check it out see if thats not some of your problems.

Especially if it is one of those that transmits the signal over the AC power line.

900Mhz cordless phones will do bad things to DSL as well.
