My room when I was a kid, 4th through 7th grade.

And some planes on fire close ups:

And a 109 that made it home:

Nice collection, however, the box says "this end up" and that end is at the bottom.  Living dangerously.

did you sleep on the floor? :)

And, you clearly are guilty of improper use of a cardboard box. This side up my arse!

LOL, I didn't even notice the boxes.  That was my spray painting booth.  I killed many brain cells in that room.  It was too cold to open windows so I just breathed it all in.  That's really just half of the room; it was kind of U shaped.  I had 70 airplanes hanging from the ceiling.

Just a thought.

Show's you how my mind works: I thought the tape on the window was the profile of an aircraft carrier.

Once in the summer I opened the window to let the smoke out of the room.  My friend and I were throwing firecrackers at the planes; trying to take them down with direct flack hits.  One landed on the nearly horizontal open window and actually blew out a chunk of the single pane glass.  The tape was my repair.

And yet it looks like an aircraft carrier.

Nowadays it's a lot more difficult to keep a table like this if you're a kid:

Hell, I'm not sure a minor is even allowed to buy this stuff any more.

Plus, that paint alone is a lot of money.

Just from those pics, I'd say you were pretty good eskimo.
