Could we have a historical arena with standard settings?

I think I'd like that right about now.  How about using Festerma while were at it? Oh and maybe a map with tank town and fighter town?

he's talking about using a standard MA map with an Allied vs. Axis plane set.

and CVs please!!  Got pretty hot tonight in Blue "Knightville" because i wanted a CV going one way, and some others wanted it another.  Ya know, being a CO for a CV squad, and needing it for squad night, people wouldnt have any complains, especially when we have 20 guys on for my squad.  But i guess i was wrong.

I think the A v A setup is better.... The Axis just don't have the buffs for a MA type setup.

Would be fun but if you think numbers balance is a problem now, wait till you have 20 ponys and 15 La's  chasing the one lone 190 in the arena. You would almost have to have an RPS, or really lower the cost of the axis perk rides.

The hypocrisy of you ridiculing someone on a WWII combat game BBS is stunning, Bugs.  It's like someone in the Chess Club making fun of the Computer Club guys for wearing pocket protectors.
But, hey, whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

:rofl You dont think that adults going around in a game calling them selfs Admirals and barking orders to other adults is ridiculus?  Its a game.  The guy was crying because the rest of the comunity did not give the Admiral the CV so he could order his guys around :rofl
Who is a hypocrite?  The guy calling himself Admiral, CO, XO, Wing Commander maybe?  Are you a CO by any chance? :noid

I don't think any of it is ridiculous, Bugs.  It IS a game, and part of the game (in case you missed the point of it being a WWII MILITARY combat game), is that multiplayer military-style games usually benefit from having some sort of hierarchy for cooperative game play.  Are you getting this, or is it just screaming over your head at 20,000 feet?

I'll be the last person to tell anyone how to play the game, but if having a military-style hierarchy when playing the game with others increases their enjoyment of the game and aids cooperative gameplay, I believe that's all for the best.  As a matter of fact, I am in a squad that does use ranks, and it helps me understand the seniority, organization and skill levels of the various members of the squad. As well it enhances my enjoyment of the game, which incidentally has been pretty low lately.

It's pretty obvious that you're just here to heckle and ridicule people... and that's sad.  I'd respectfully suggest you try to find a more productive use of your time and effort besides demeaning other people.

I find that having a rank lends a credibility and air of authority to my posts, opinions, and email that is otherwise lacking from those of the rank and file. ;)
