Well you have your opinion and I have mine.  If you don't think it is funny that someone has to tell people on a BBS that he is an Admiral and you need to deffend them that is fine sir.

I'll be the last person to tell anyone how to play the game, but if having a military-style hierarchy when playing the game with others increases their enjoyment of the game and aids cooperative gameplay, I believe that's all for the best.  As a matter of fact, I am in a squad that does use ranks, and it helps me understand the seniority, organization and skill levels of the various members of the squad. As well it enhances my enjoyment of the game, which incidentally has been pretty low lately.

Exactly my point.  Maybe your CO needs to change your orders or order you to have more enjoyment?

It's pretty obvious that you're just here to heckle and ridicule people... and that's sad.  I'd respectfully suggest you try to find a more productive use of your time and effort besides demeaning other people.

Not really, but don't expect me to watch adults play pretend generals and not think it is funny.  Did you get permission before you posted here?

Hey I'm just thinking this is the time for a Historical arena to shine while theres trouble in the Orange and Blue arena.

If we had a historical arena with the standard settings we might get enough numbers to have  a fun fight.

I find if I wear my pocket protector in the inside pocket of my coat, I still feel good and not as many people razz me.

Look bugs, ive kept my mouth shut about this.  Some people Enjoy having a fake rank and military unit.  It allows them to feel like they are real pilots.  Some of us, just cant be real ones.  If ya got a problem with it, thats your opinion, but it would be nice not to bad mouth anyone on this forum please.

If you think this funny... Don't go play WW2 Online, over there they do ranks, HQ commanders, Korps, Div. and BDE Co's. And they do tell what to do and when to do it.

And over there as far as numbers balance goes.... In WW2 OL if your doesn't log on for the night.... The other is going to rollup the map on you. And not feel bad about it.
