Some valid points about top-bottom quality.
Wisconsin is decent this year but not great.
No doubt the top of the Big Ten is awesome, unfortunately this year we do have some lower quality teams.
However, most arguments I hear about the depth of the SEC are flawed since they just beat up on each other and use those wins to further their strength of schedule argument.
When the top SEC teams start playing top programs around the country at the beginning of the year, they will get more respect.
Consider the fact that Michigan plays ND just about every year.
OSU has played Texas the last two years, at Washington next year, at USC in 2008, USC at home in 2009, and in Columbus vs Miami (FL) in 2010.
Playing and winning versus quality competition outside your conference makes the program better.
