Glove's last call...
« on: December 14, 2006, 09:53:26 PM »
Just wanted to say after this weekend I'm pulling the plug on my AH account.  It's been a fun ride and I've enjoyed the time I've spent here.

Enemies beware, I'll have beer this weekend and I won't be afraid to kill it!

to all who made the game fun.

Glove, as your squadmate I am following you out the door sir! I am gonna do some 262 or tempest dweebery all weekend!  After about 5 years here it is time to move along!   :aok

to friend and foe alike... Especially foes like the 367th, The AKs and the JBs... (Prefer the JBs when they were knights though)

Long live Knightland! :D

Thanks for the replies guys.  LOL Batfink, of course I remember ya.  You saved my 6 more that once!

As for the perkies, I don't have enough to worry about losing, so I don't really see the value in keeping the account open for that.

I think I just need a break from computer games as a whole.  None of them are that entertaining to me anymore.  Guess I may just simply be at the end of the gaming life cycle.  We'll see if it starts again someday.

Later,

Glove

Takin a break from time to time is a good thing IMHO. I sorta had to quit once in late 200o when the IT (dot-com) market cratered and I was laid off three times in a year (are you laid off when they padlock the doors of your employer?). Every now and again I stop flying for a tour or three, when I come back I find things more enjoyable than before.

But playing online air-combat simulators for 12 years straight does NOT mean I'm an addict...really I can quit any time!
