Have you changes screen resolution lately? That can rearrange your desktop icons
Updates shouldn't move or eliminate the desktop icon.
The film viewer comes with the download, it is not seperate. You need the game to watch films with the AH Film Viewer.
Its easy to reconstruct them if they got lost. Go to your main HTC folder in program Files and then into the Aces High II folder, find the aceshigh.exe file and right click on it and use the create shortcut option and then move the created shortcut to your desktop. Do the same with ahfilm.exe to recreate that shortcut.
If you have not updated in a long time its best to reinstall the whole game as the autoloader will only update the last patch and not ones before that I believe.
