Can anyone recommend this game?  I have heard some things about it, but not much.

how does the air combat compare to AH2?

Is the tank fighting similar to Red Orchestra?

How about the ground troop portion, is it like CoD or DoD..etc.?

I haven't played it but I heard it uses the "Hello Kitty: Island Adventure" graphics engine.

It doesn't hurt to give it a try... I thought it was fun but didn't have nearly enough time to get halfway decent at it.

If you are looking for a war simulation rather than fun, then go for it.

AH is a game, Battlefield Europe is a WW2 simulation, i much prefer AH.

i think it would appeal to Silent Hunter fans.

Lots of things about ww2ol suck and will make you angry. But it does have gameplay :)

Best bet is to try it yourself.

im still a subscriber to WW2 OL

All i can say is its a WW2 Simulation...you can run around for 3 hours and not find a enemy to shoot, then again you can spawn in and within seconds in a shootout....Its a 1 shot 1 kill game...basically 1 shot kills you, tanks is the best feature of the game, very realistic is that department, air war.....better stick with AHII if you want air war....naval battles are pretty sweet....lag is still a issue in the game....

try it out urself....what these other guys said

I just fired it up last night after almost a year off.  The game has come a long way. I suggest you try the 30 day trial and see for yourself.

Lag is down, ton of graphics reworked and many other features. I had no video lag at all playing the game this week, couldn't say that a year ago.

Infantry lag is way up at the moment, its a big peeve with everybody. You can have a guy kill you then from your corpses view you see him run around the corner.

Lag is a problem. And the graphics aren't too sparkling either. The air side of it is not a patch on AHII, but the ground aspect is very good.

You need alot of time to play it, which is why I quit. Prefer a quick blast on Red Orchestra for my realistic FPS needs.
