gum smacking.
beating your kids and yelling at them in the supermarket.
ignoring your obnoxious kids in the supermarket.
not hiring a sitter when your kids are in a mood and you have to go to the supermarket.
the sound of a spoon scraping in a bowl followed by a slurping sound.
(my most ridiculous peeve as i obviously do this myself)
bass that you can hear forever when a car passes.
people who think you owe them respect when they dont offer it to others.

looking at my list...noise must be my biggest pet peeve.  lol
(though i live just fine within it when i live in the city)

what's yours?

Kids that wear their pants around their knees and then try to look cool walking...

Left lane campers....

Wives that find a list of things for you to do when you have time off during Christmas...

People that wear Raider gear for the image, not the team...

Bears fans that suddenly forget how badly they've sucked since 1986 and suddenly believe their team has been a dominent NFC team for 2 decades...

People that hold a grudge...

French Software Engineers...

Middle Eastern men who are so choked with pride that they cannot admit to a mistake in a public forum... (work related for me..)

Indian men who can't loosen up for 5 minutes and say a few swear words....

People who have difficulty multi-tasking.

Parents that call their kids "Stupid" or "Dumb".

Procrastination, I have no tolerance of any who procrastinates, including myself...

David Letterman slobbering all over his fingers and inundating every piece of paper he handles (I've e-mailed him about it but not holding my breath).

People that hit the brakes and slow down when changing lanes.
People talking on cell phones when driving.
People that walk down the middle of the street.
Chicks that don't put out after the third date.

Off the top of my head:  left lane campers..  or four lane wide barrages of cars for no reason at all is one of the few things that irritated me to no end when I was in the US.
One of these days I'll have to film some french parents berating their kids.  Sometimes you wouldn't believe it without seeing it.

Using the word "One" as a pronoun.  It's a moral struggle every time I hear it as to whether or not I will get up and just start punching the person in the face.

Parents don't beat their children enough in the grocery store. I can't stand to see kids running wild thru the store while Mom acts like she is on vacation. If the little devils saw other kids getting beaten for acting like wild dogs, they would stop it themselves.

Note to parents: The grocery store is not Six Flags, Chuck E. Cheese or the McDonald's playground. The store manager is not a ride operator, babysitter or surrogate parent.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

i covered that stuff in the following peeves.

right with you on that one.  in fact, i think that the grocery store should become a right of passage at say, 12 or 13.

One who looks at me funny when I beat my kids in the supermarket.
One who turns their nose up because I wear Raider gear and pants down to my knees.
When all of the cars around me speed up in unison every time I switch lanes.
One who thinks that I’ve ever been wrong.
One who tailgates me as I cruise in the left lane of the freeway at 62 mph.
