I am going with Bustr on this one.
CH 200 is constantly filled with post-kill remarks ...
"Only took 5 of ya"
"Luck Shot" <--- my favorite
"BS ... 1 ping kill"
"No way plane x could do that"
What is the need for all of this ? You got killed ... simple as that ... shut up, suck it up, and get another plane and start all over again.
These types of remarks are simply self imposed deflections of ... I sucked at one particular moment and I don't want to admit it. The need to invalidate the kill so that their ego will survive.
If I had to get onto CH 200 and post some sort of "excuse" for getting killed, then half my time in AH would be spent typing ... it's nothing but a waste of time and achieves nothing except for the fact that one cannot accept that they got killed by X plane and/or Y person.
I have known KillnU for quite some time now ... have flown with and against him ... and he does not really participate, that I have seen, in this CH 200 blather.
Last time I killed him, he came on 200 and asked how my FM2 caught him in a dive. I believe it was an honest question by him trying to understand what just happened ... not that he was trying to invalidate my kill.
There are too many good pilots in AH that feel the need to constantly run their mouths on 200 and it's sad to see ... all the newbs that eventually, by word of mouth, find out who the "leet" players are, then emulate the 200 blather thinking that its cool and that that behavior somehow gets them closer to being "leet".
For example, I had a newb talk smack to me the other night, and for the first time in my AH career, I had to take him behind the woodshed and spank him twice. The way he was taking, you would think that he was some uber pilot ... twas not the case ... I am sure he was just emulating what he had seen on 200 and that made him feel bigger than he really was.
