And usually said horror flicks are cheapies designed to give the teens something to do while their parents wrap their presents.  I can picture most of the films that have come out debuting on Sci Fi

the malls and post offices are horror enough.....

that and the fact that the Xmas holidays seem to start just after Halloween these days....
