i have an idea of who this person was cuz one day i got ear full of what " LTAR's do wrong " crap, i didnt listen, considering who it was that was sayin crap....i wasn't bout to listen any further and left the channel he was on.

i luv the ltar's, bunch great guys, i luv droppin bombs on their noggins when in osti's and i luv shootin them down in the air. but.....i also luv flyin side by side or gv'n side by side. nevertheless....<> LTAR's

Ouch. Well, we have had some pretty nasty departures from our squad, but no one ever messed with our site. Someone did form another squad whose sole purpose was to shoot down the Mongrels. :D

Glad things are up and running as they should be for you guys. Of course you guys always shoot me down so I don't care for the lot of you, but that is moot.

LTARghst you were in Desert Storm??? What unit?? I was over there with A battery (ammo platoon) 1/158th FA (MLRS) Oklahoma Army National Guard. We went over with the 142nd FA Brigade but my battery was detached and we ended up working for everyone it seemed. Worked out in the end because we got to wear our own brigade patch as our combat patch when we got back. 45th FA Brigade (Thunderbirds). As far as I know we were the last unit ever authorized to wear the double t-bird, as that unit patch has gone away.

Anyways if you were a tanker it's a good probabillilty we fired support missions for you.
