Can't shut down B-26
« on: December 10, 2000, 09:37:00 AM »
In the past few weeks every time I land with one engine shot out on the B-26 I cannot shut off the other.

Try as I might different key combos it will not shut off. I end up having to "alt f4" to get out because I just roll in circles on the runway.

Prior to losing an engine the "E" key shuts them down fine. Last time I tried to turn off my good engine while on final, but it would not work. I ditched gear up so I would not have to alt f4 again.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hi Daddog,
It's "shift e" or something like that. to stop & start each engine individually in a multi engine ride. I'll work it out and post it here.

Hi daddog,
 Just worked it out.....

shift 1, 2, 3, 4 to select the appropriate engine. Then e to switch it on or off

shift e to select all engines again.

Thanks!  I will try that.   Just wonder why the "e" key will not work because it did before was damaged.
