Both should be off when flying, and Nortons is notorius for not really being off when you turn it off. Hit cntrl, alt, delete and check under the processes tab to see whats running.

If you have a router, you might want to reset it. Turn it off for a minute, and let it reboot, same with a cable modem. Other than that. you'll need a network guru like Skuzzy to help out if that doesn't help.

Get your ISP involved. From the brief trace you posted it appears Comcast is having problems.

Not unusual this time of year for many ISP's to have some issues. The changing weather usually causes a lot of communications issues. Combined with the heavy Internet usage from most people in the U.S. being off work, and you have a recipe for network issues.

That said, Comcast is probably not going to do anything about it as they will take the stance, this reflects normal seasonal problems.
