the only bad thing about night flying is really really really decreased visibility

Night was only axed because too many people were crying about how dark it got twice a day. People would log off, figure out what times were night and avoid the arenas, or sit there and moan over the text channels until dawn.

Not saying there was no fun in flying at night, but...

those people need to get over it, i cant believe HT changed that cuase only a 8th of the AH community thought night ruined the fun...while the other 7/8 of us loved it...its BS but hey....let the baby have its bottle right?

lol it was more than an 8th.. it was actually a huge majority that complained.. otherwise HT wouldnt have changed it..

We have many arenas now, maybe we could try it in 1 or 2 arenas...

Night was fun and Id like to see it back.

well sence we have 2 main arenas, y not use night in one and not the other, and see over time which arena works out and which doesnt...
also, y not have night in AvA.... its realistic, its sided right? i donno if there is night in it or not, because i havnt played on that one arena long enough  to see the sun go down

Night fighting could be a good way to get more people in the early and mid war areanas if it was only available in them. I say leave it out of the late war though.

Hate to say it, guys... Been witness to 2 (or 3?:huh ) Santa nights so far, and the same wishes for nighttime after the Christmas Eve event. Haven't seen anything to indicate that the MA's will have it at all.

This actually isn't a bad idea.  There have been a lot of ideas that have been nixed to allow people to be able to play more easily.  Wind, runway craters, etc.

Why not have a full and relaxed realism arena kind of like they did in the old Air Warrior but different in that the full realism here introduces these environmental challenges rather than making the planes themselves easier to fly.

Start up an H2H arena and change the Morning and Night settings to 23:59 and 00:01 and you have a full day (including night) minus two minutes. Set the time multiplier to 5 and you have 5 hours for every real hour.

i hope thay will bring back night. i knew some bad people use the gamma "cheet" but i can live with that if we get the butivul night back.
Btw why not change icon range at night time? normal fighter get range of 1 maybe 2 k and 110 or mosquito get vis range of 10k (nightfighter).
Only a thought :-).

Bring back the night, i only want 10-20mins twis a day and only in one arena, nobody cant be anoied by this litel change.

... if night will returned in both LW arenas but not in EW and MW.
