Just thinking that the uncapturable fields should use the large Icons....capturable the small....tidy up the map a bit, and in a GV...will give a better Idea of how far away from field.

Make uncapturable fields have GREY instead of black, but keep them all small-sized. I really really intensely dislike the large icons.

Keep the color (red/green/whatever) just change the black to grey. What do you think?

Might be too subtle to notice.  At least with the icon sizes, there is no mistaking at a glance what the field's status is.

Besides "graying out" unavailable airfields smacks a little too much of Microsoft infiltration <>.

Well do something other than make it 5x too big. Greying out was just one suggestion. Maybe keep the small icons but put a border around them (same color as the icon itself). Then ones without borders (just like a 1-2 pixel drop outer glow) are un-capturable.

I really don't like the huge icons.
