Night Landing
« on: December 25, 2006, 10:07:05 PM »
Once again I seemed to have missed something. I was in an arena this evening (Sunset was barely visable) and took off without planning ahead. I thought there would be runway lights (there weren't) and then I flew to another base thinking things would be better there. (They weren't)
Crash!
Did I just get unlucky, or are there landing lights available on the aircraft?
Thanks.

No landing lights no runway lights.  Sounds like you should turn up the brightness on your monitor or increase the gamma in settings.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

You ran into the yearly "Christmas Eve Santa Night" jazzman. Since its the only time in the year that it gets dark in the AH world, there are not many accommodations (like landing lights etc).

If you happen to be online for it next year, BaldEagles recommendation of turning up gamma a notch will help.
