The only real downside of DVI is that you will have to adjust the picture (color, brightness, etc) using the video card settings instead of adjustments using the monitor menu. That's a good thing for some people, a bad thing for people with monitors that need a lot of tweaking to get a good image.
But DVI should overall give a better image.
thats what I figured.
Dunno if its going ot work the same with a DVI cable attacked ans the current VGA butthe monitor actually adjusted itself to my current video card settings.
Centered the picture, adjusted the brightness all by itself as soon as the computer booted up and again when I cheged the resolution settings
Which was pretty cool.

thing I found odd was in game.
with the new monitor and Higher Res settings. I changed over to the Hi Rec pack, upped the texture and in game res and then even upped some of my video detail settings in game and didnt notice a very big frame rate drop.
which I thought odd. but I aint complaining
