I am sorry guys, but my camera is broken and it's the only camera i have. I cannot post the pics cuz i cant upload them from my camera(SINCE ITS BROKEN!!!!! WHAT A DRAG!!!!!!!!!!!).

Looking behind me, I still have about 100, mostly 1/48th scale kits stacked up, collected over the years. Haven't built seriously since I found Airwarrior back in 96. Just haven't had the time since

Should get back into it. I'd reached the point where I was getting halfway decent at it. Then those cyber 38s got into my bloodstream.

Just a partial list as I look at em.

14 F4 Phantom kits
7 F-16
10 Me 109
11 P-51
10 Spitfire
9 P-38

It goes on and on. Getting in the 'mood' for a certain kit or type always lead to more spending just to have some in reserve

What paints did you you use. The Blue-gray looks fantasic.

No that particular one is a hand launched electric park flyer. however many similiar with retracts

It was a kit I got that was literally in a cardboard box with no directions or anything. Just a kit in a box. I copied another paint scheme from a model a friend gave me a while back.

I will when I have the chance to pull them out of their storage box. Lacking of space recently. I do a ton of 1/35 tamiya and dragon tanks and such. Love them. Have several in the "to finish" bin! Finished a 190 last spring, not my best, but it was fun and built really quick.

I would also be very inteerested to know the color of paints you used to make the blue-gray on the corsair - looks fantastic! Also, what do you use for the soot/smoke around the gun openings?

I use a lot of different paints... acrylics, epoxy, sometimes even paints from the shop. The soot and exhaust stains are made with a double action airbrush (Badger) and contain mostly flat black, a touch of white and brown. Practice on a painted piece of sheet styrene that is primed and coated the same color if you have not done it before. Then work quickly but purposefully.

As for panel lines, I scribe everyone, then I paint the model, and use darkened amounts of the base paint (darkened black) to make the shading. Use a double action airbrush, and a piece of flexible (read thin) styrene to literally mask the back side of the panel line off. there... instant shading.

wow yalls models turn out better than mine (u have more detail is what i mean) but im currently building a 1:48 p38 J. hopefully ill get it finished and ill post some pics.

Heres one I did of an Emil with eng damage, hope you guys like it
