Ive been playing this game for about 6-7 months now. I'm sure I need to go to therapy now, cause I get home from work and immedially up bombers 4 sectors away from target, and then change clothes, grab food, check mail, do bills, or whatever. The whole time, going over to the monitor, checking position, maybe rudder turning here and there, listening for the *pling pling pling* of enemy fighters hitting me on my surround sound if I'm out of the room.  Checking text to see if something is more pressing. Usually about 20 mins into flight, I'll put my target up on country, and start requesting info about location, my ETA, and if anyone else is INB.
ABout 40 mins into flight, Ive done the home front thing, and Im ready to have descent night of AH. This is a typical night.

Am I the only one.

ps my fighters skills are actually getting better since I changed my view around on my top hat. I can see now

Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

I JUST TAKE THE SPOUSE ACK THE WHOLE FLIGHT!  Unlike you guys I cant pry myself away from the computer during the flight, because as soon as I do one of you sneeky rooks or bishs will take a fighter up, fly for 20 mins to catch up to me at 25k, as i line up on target just before my drop i get shot all to crap, miss my drop, i just spent 40 mins to get to target, fly a nother 20 mins to limp home on 3 engines, no rudder, all guns out of ammo, almost out of gas and pilot wounded,  upon landing as i put the gear down not realizing only one wheel went down I land slide off the runway ruin the remaining 3 engines for hitting the ground to hard because the last thing that came off my bomber in the preceding fight were my flaps.  at the bottom of the srceen I see YOU HAVE DITCHED!  1 hours worth of flying for nothing NO SIRS!  Ill take the spouse ack over that anytime!

A couple years ago, when my inner-ear infection forced me to quit my tree-trimming job, I stayed home with my (then) 6 month old boy while my wife worked. I did a lot of the home-front thing as I recouped, while in the virtual world my bombers were climbing out to some contested part of the map. I had the surround sound on, listening to my squad buddies B.S. It was a good link to civilization while I was subject to the occasional :cry :cry :cry  of my real life buddy. So no, it's not abnormal behavior at all. I'm just another Aces High geek.

anytime I see a WW2 plane I would go log to AH... I started flying A6m's and p40 at one time cuz of the pearl harbor movie....

I think the only thing that can separate me from this game is my girl laying on my bed butt naked with her legs spre------- lemme stop...we got kids here...

That is so true! I remember one time I was ain a spit 8, I think it was. Put into Auto climb, then got called through for my dinner. Came back half an hour later to find my self at 35k, deep in Bish territorry (I was over their HQ) and with 2 mins of gas remaining! What the heck, so I do a U turn, and head home, putting  on Autoclimb for a laugh. 2 minutes later, just as my engine is about to cut out, PING PING PING. What the F***! Then he must have got a pilot kill, caus im in tower! What kind of bored SOB climbs up to 35K to attack a plane!

I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack
