Greetings,

Is tonight's snapshot on? I believe it should be something about bombing V1 sites.

Cheers,

Nothing sez it's off, AFAIK

Simple enough shapshot.  Holidays may determine the turn out.

10pm EST in SEA.

Thanks tedrbr,

It was poorly attended probably because of the holidays. It seems like a great snapshot. Very simple, with a promise of a lot of combat:eek:

two questions: Let's say that I'm a German pilot, can I land and re-arm during this snapshot?
If my engine is shot out and by some miracle I dead stick a landing and get to the re-arm pad is the engine fixed?

Cheers,

You can land and hit rearm pad in any senerio really.  Nothing in code to stop you, though, rarely needed unless flying a very short legged aircraft.

Using a rearm pad does not fix aircraft damage.  Best you can do is land the damaged plane so other side does not get points for the kill.  Usually you can join other pilots as gunner (or even observers in fighters), but your fighting is done for the night.

I hope poor attendence is just a holidays thing.  Last couple I looked at did not have numbers either.  Not like we used to get.

Greetings,

I will do my best to be there next Wednesday.  I have not heard the chatter on the country nets like I used to prior to FSO or Snapshots.  It may be that many new people don't know about them.

Drat!  I missed it!

Will the Snapshot series continue after New Year's Day?
