I'm sort of back
« on: December 27, 2006, 08:07:45 PM »
hiya all, just wanted to pop in and and mention I may be posting more....

with life all fudged up and stuff, things change. I have a neighbor who has offered me to use his wireless intardnet so here I am. the status is so bad I doubt gameplay is possible (monetarily also)... but here I am. :p

yeah I am unemployed, and totally screwed myself. it is such a stupid situsation I am almost embarrassed to talk about it. anyway, I wanted to say hiay's all, and see whats up in the o'club / AH world.

JB88, you've been busy! LOL
Lazs, like a Chevy, like a rock, the most stable thing in the history of the o'club
Mac, glad to see you have been working things out, and still living well.
Rip, seems some are catching up to your un-human post count :p
Nilsen, NO you do NOT own Sweden, regardless what google earth says.
Seagoon, glad to see you are still THE moral support / conscience of everyone here.
Chairboy, the anti-Seagoon as always
Sandman, well sort of neutral as ever, never getting the ban stick it seems ;)
Skuzzy, seems the job has been about the same, possibly easier, as the irreverence has been alot mellowed in recent weeks / months.

there seems to be alot of "new" names or should I say names that came up in the last year, mostly shades that i am SO terrible at identifying... others know who you are, but I will never pass that hurdle.

as for me, well, I am a tard, and looking for a job, who knows what I will be doing or where I will be living next month.

cheers, and let's enjoy a drink you you all! <> all AH'ers Life goes on!

see ya around!

Heyas 73, good to hear from you bud.   I've been unemployed myself since August, but am waiting until right after the New Year in regards to a VERY GOOD interview with Pfizer.

You'll be a better person because of this, I know I am.   It made me take stock and reflect in ways I normally wouldn't have.

duyamn Karaya, thats a LONG time to be out of it,...

me well, i fudged up, and it's my fault. I have a hopefully promising lead, but there still is uncertainness.

I did have a 3rd interview at one place, then never hear back. I'm still kind of pissed about that. I mean WTF mate? 3 interviews, and they seemed to really like me and my knowledge of the industry at the time. hell, I don't know if will will be able to pay rent come February 1.

add to that my real father can't help as he fell down a stairs, and ripped off his foot. he'll be in a wheelchair for the next year minimum. stepdad got re-married and is excising everything mine from his life / house so I got nothing to fall back on.

anyway, hope things step up for you and the wife and kid (you do have only 1 child correct? )

<> bro forgot to mention you in the first message! ;)

It does seem like an unending nightmare.  I went through something similar last year.  Wife filed for divorce on me, the job I was told I had was given to someone else after I quit my previous job to take that one, no family at all here.  Thought it'd never end.  Then found a well paying, easy on the feet job, stayed here, and wife decided she was being stupid and stopped the proceedings for divorce.  All worked out well in the end.  Well, except for the drunk titty dancer episode, but I got a better car out of that deal.

As Maj. Dick Winters would tell you, "hang tough!".

Yeah, just Ian.   We had a "small xmas" this year.   If all works out, I'm getting him something nice.   As well as the wife.   Just didn't want to spend more than we had too.

Howdy Mustaine!

Glad to have you "back" :)

Im sure things will turn around for you as most things in life does. Ups and downs comes and goes just like night and day. One day before you know it a job will pop up outa nowere so its just a matter of grabbing the opportunity when you see it and dont be afraid to take chanse. Most people dont end up were they plan to anyway as life is a never ending journey into the unknown however well you may try to plan it.

Good luck for you bro.
Bear in mind, when life is tough, that what doesn't kill you, just makes you tougher ;)
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
