You would be hard pressed to find a christian country that believed in stoning women to death today. Christianity has evolved whereas the barbarism and biggotry of the muslim one has fluourished and remained basicaly rooted in the dark ages.

I dont know. I think our secular laws prohibit "unnamed fundalmentalist" from stoning women. I guess we could hide our heads in the sand and say Christianity has no room for biggotry, but lets get real.
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.—Dwight Eisenhower, April 16, 1953

blu.. what are laws but the will of the people?   if the christians allowed the passing of laws that prohibited them from stoning people in the streets then it can be said that the religion has evolved.

On the other hand... if legions of christians strap bombs to their bodies and blow up hundreds of innocent people in a market place until the law is removed.. then the religion and it's people have not evolved.
