Just stumbled across a great show on DiscoveryHD. One Six Right: The Romance of Flying. It's the story of Van Nuys Airport and I highly reccomend checking it out.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

When I was flying out of Van Nuys it was a 1960 cargo cessna, there was no romance involved :cry

I missed the screening when the flick was released at VNY, I'll follow your advice and grab it somewhere.

VNY is my home airport too, I bought the dvd when it was released... You can get it at

It really is an awsome little movie if you're into aviation.  Its not just about Van Nuys, it really is about every little airport in america, and all the important things that they do.

I watched a couple of the scenes available on the site. The ones titled Flight and Look Ma--No Hands! were great.

Looks like a must have to me. Thanks for the post.
