DX 8 vs. DX 7 which to use

Ok i have DX 8 on my system should I use DX 7?

If so where can you download it and do you just overright DX8 or should you remove it from your system first.

Milo,

    I use DX8 and have no problems with it. If you have DX8 on your system now you are pretty much stuck with it.   DX 8 has no uninstall program and DX 7 will not over write it.  If everything work then I suggest you don't change it.   Use the old phrase  " If it ain't broke, don't fix it"

DX 8 can be removed, there's a couple of programs that do it.  I haven't used the following program, so use at your own discretion:

DX8 is it any good and should i get it

DX8 solved a couple of problems I was having in other games (MSCFS 2 for one).  I haven't experienced any problems with it.
