It already does that JB88. Hit your insert key and delete key and it zooms your map in and out.

I think he's talking about the maps of the individual base layouts (IE, being able to zoom in on the distribution of hangars at a small airfield, etc).
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

the field layout maps etc.
