Is it possible .........
« on: December 29, 2006, 09:18:31 PM »
I havent had any troubles in the past, until the other night when I went AFK, got distracted & never came back....... now I lose UDP EVERY time I log in. Is it possible I corrupted some file when I went afk while in flight?

Is there anything else that might have changed all of a sudden that can cause me to lose connect on EVERY log? Last 6 flights= 6 disco's Plz Hlp

The loss of UDP is strictly due to the network connection.  No file in Aces High II would cause that.  Run a PingPlot (http://www.pingplotter.com) to 206.16.60.38 and see if it will show where the packet loss is happening.

now I notice a network unplugged notice, which immidiately fixxes itself.
Checked all my wiring & all seems tight. Reboot system & play for a few flights this time- think i got it whipped & then Boot.

The message about the network being unplugged could be a bad cable, or bad connector.  If you are running wireless, then it could simply be the loss of signal.  In that case, usually setting the speed of the interface to a lower setting will resolve that,
