lol, why not? Germany had a sweet dual rotor design. Perk 'em & use them for field & vehicle resupply...of course the U.S version couldn't be added with it's poor lifting abilities unless it was for downed pilot rescue.

(I'm sort of kidding; but it could add a new element to the game if implemented)

Oh, P.S. add Panther tanks please as a mid-perk tank for when the eny keeps Tigers in the hangar.

The Flettner FL 282 Kolibri (Humming Bird) would be good for spotting shells for the Cruisers in AH. Some of these were used for spotting and sort range recon on German navy vessels. I think there were some other early helocopters built by Flettner that were used on U-Boats, and other ships for spotting, and recon.

I posted a thing about choppers before, good idea, but then it will become like RV8, no more dogfights, everyone taking RV8 , then it will be choppers

Here is a link to the specific design I was referring to (& the best design imo)

Fa 223 Drache

This helo could lift over a ton & would have been able to carry vehicle or field supplies. It would be an effective way to add a new twist to the game. Even though there were few of them the perk system could make up for that.

Like I said, I don't really expect it to be taken seriously; I'd rather get the Panther introduced as a mid perk tank to off-set the Tiger on those crazy eny battles where you're facing 10 Tigers from two different directions & all you have is a Panzer that can't out run or out maneuver them & can only kill one if you are very close, very skilled or just plain lucky.

I would luv to have whirllybirdz in AHII... after all they were in WWII.  Watch the movie "Where Eagles Dare"!!!

A good option when scouting, bringing supplies & troops.

The helicopters never seen action in WWII, they were all prototypes, i believe  they didn't even make it to the production line, although they would be fun to fly, there just is no use for them.  Frankly I'd rather see more fighters and tanks added, it waould take less time since they would have to model allot more than in a plane or tank, and the flight controls wouldn't be any easier

So i stand corrected
but still, i think its a waste of time trying to model something that will become a "hangar queen" in a relatively short time span

Eh, I really agree with you, as I said earlier. It could carry enough weight to make it usable for carrying GV & field supplies & troops; plus it's small size & ability for vtol would make it useful. It would probably be about the same as the jeep when it comes to hangar queen status though as not many people would use it once the "new" wore off.

I'd rather have a tank that fits between the Tiger & Panzer on the perk/eny table...something fast with good armor that stands a chance against a Tiger, like the Panther. I'd be happy if they just up-gunned the T-34 with the high velocity gun.

Oh & to the poster above, this helo is the one that could carry bombs.
