sidenote on Sea vs Dallas:  Wife and kid are going to the playoff game. I didn't want to go to watch what I think will be a loss.  The only possible way Seattle can win this game is if our offense comes alive again like last year and out-shoots Dallas, tit-for-tat, on offense.  The bad news for either team is....winner goes to Chicago, and regardless if the Bears are in a slump right now, you can bet their defense will be ready to play next week-end, and that in itself will make a long day for either of these two teams.

I was wrong about this outcome, but I was sorta right about what it takes for Seattle to win, however I should have stated "And Romo CHOKES in the end and gives Seattle the ball!"  :rofl :rofl :rofl

Seriously, my wife CALLED that play last night, un-frickin-believeable....I'm sitting at a buddy's house watching the game, figuring its over, and she calls me from the game and says "We're gonna block that FG or the holder is gonna mess up the hold!".  I was like..."ya, right!  Seaons over darling..."

Women...sometimes their intuition is scarey....

It was a case of whoever had the ball last was going to give the game to the other team

What happened to the pro-bowl TO? :D  1 catch for 14 yards against a make-shift secondary. :rofl  That made my night!

I agree.  We need to fire the anti-Tice.  Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen for at least a couple of years.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

4-0  :p

Last year I started a contest to predict the Super Bowl winner starting with the Wild Card round and forecasting the entire playoffs in advance.  Just one chance to predict all the winners throughout the entire scenario.

So far this year three of our eight achieved 4-0 in the Wild Card round.

We have some genuine sports experts as well as a few extremely casual viewers in the group.  Last year only one of 11 participants correctly picked Pittsburgh all the way.  The winner was a 4-year-old girl.  Yes, she made her own choices as her Mom read the possibilities to her.

We'll see if she can repeat this year.  She's the only one picking Philadelphia to win the Super Bowl.   :O
