Well now, I don't know about that. But I do know this. When my current G/F and I were first dating, I told her this.
1) I don't need a dependent, my kids are grown. So if you think I'm going to support you, you can forget that right now.
2) I don't need a Mother, I have one. So if you think you're going to tell me what to do, you can forget that right now.
3) What I truly need is a partner who will help and encourage and advise when requested.

We've been together now for 7 years, and it's been the best 7 years I've ever shared with someone. :aok

After reading all those points  I'm glad to say my girlfriend fits all five and i'm very happy/lucky to be able to say that.
