Most of you won't watch this.

Bill dance is a freshwater angler who offers televised fishing instruction. Here are some of his  outtakes.

Those were great!

I used to watch him and some others when I did a lot of tournament fishing on the club level.

Notice how he never used a four letter word? I liked that.

Yep they were all bleeped out :p

Always did like watching his show.

I'm guilty of everything in that reel except for wrangling a runaway trolling motor.  I did sink one, though.

If they were bleeped out it was done smoothly enough to make it not noticeable to me. Good job to the film editor. But that still does say something about the time and era he did that show. Now they wouldn't bother bleeping the bad words out.

right off the bat there's a bleep or two.  Getting out of the truck.  Made me chuckle as I thought I was in store from a (very uncharacteristic) swearing rampage from Bill Dance.

no, with knee and another with fishing buddies forehead :rofl :lol

but if I MUST answer, sadly I can't touch fish. never taken my own off the hook. the last 5 times i tried i got salamandered so bat i bled for a week  :furious fkng fish

so having someone with you to take them off the hook is hard enough, let alone the last fish i caught....

PETA moment (and I FKNG HATE peTARDS) was an 11" northern, and got himself into the weeds, foul-hooked him, and killed him in the process of taking him off (last I did myself). I actually did a report on northern in grade school, and were my most admired fish. I felt so bad killing that lowly whittle guy  :cry

also i really don;t eat seafood, i actually hate most of it. I was killing these fishes for sport, with no reason other than my own fun. (the most and ONLY liberal thought through my head)

haven't fished since then, and I have 5 rods with expensive reels, all told probably $1100 in equipment there alone back in 1998 prices.

fishing is my religion. i have been fishing tournaments on the club level for about 10 years. i'm entering some bigger tournaments this year.

while i have never "hooked" myself, i have had, and observed, some pretty righteous bloopers...

...was in the back of a canoe fishing a pond on long island when i got hung-up in a tree. in the process of snapping my bait out of the tree, it broke loose and i whipped my partner right in the back of the head with a "loaded" rod. he said it "&$#@ing hurt like hell!!!!"

...was in a tournament with a friend who hung a smithwick rogue with excalibur hooks in some brush on the bank. he was struggling to get it out and when it came free it shot back str8 at him at about 300mph. it hit him right on top of the leg/thigh area and buried 2 hookpoints deep into his leg. end of tourney with a trip to the E.R.

...was fishing about a hundred yards off the beach in long island sound one fall in a 10ft dingy that had washed ashore one day and i had repaired. a friend of mine talked me into it and all was going fine until a freak wind squall blew thru and the seas jumped to about 5ft in a matter of minutes. we sank and lost everything. adding insult to injury, i was in the coast guard at the time and it happaned directly in front of my base. we got plucked out of the water by one of our rescue boats and never lived it down =)
