i was just wondering how come we have the 262 and the 163, but not the gloucster metoer which was the allied alternative for shooting down 262's and 163's.
i have not been in the BB long enough to know, when and why we had262 intstead of the metoer when we already have a large german planeset compared to the british planeset. i understand the metoer F1 went into serive with 616 squadron anround july '44, and F3 model (far superior to F1) around december '44.
i have done some research on the plane, trying myself to find why the 262 is in and not the meteor,
and have concluded its because the 262 was in service for 8 months longer in WW2.
would i be right?
and i find the meteor a fascinating plane, and would love to see it in game some time. is this false hope?
i seem to recall a comment soemwhere like "we'll get that as soon as we get the meteor" in a sort of sarcastic manner that suggested soemthing had been said that it would never be put in the game.
