great work, hearing KO again brought it all back.

going thru film to find the best KO moments when we are argueing about which is better northern Jersey or eastern Philly(aka South Jersey)

I have shed tears for him everynight, I can't believe he is gone, and don't want to.

Jim,

Please post this , I cant seem to log in to do so.

To 68Falcon as well as the whole 68th and the community of Aces High,

I just need to say all I do is cry when I read the threads you’ve posted. I seen the 5 minute movie on KO’s memorial flight. I could not bring myself to watch it  a second time. I was crying to much the first.  I  I,  I just have no words to say. I heard his voice again…What I wouldn’t do to watch him sit on the computer and hear him scream “watch your six”!

O my….  I cant believe you have his voice.

If possible please keep the threads up for a while or put them all in one spot. After all is said and done Iam going to want to go back and read and reminise on my husbands passion. And I think it may help me get through. My son wants to read them also.  There just hasn’t been to much time.

I can say though, his funeral tomorrow is going to be beautiful. I think I covered everything to honor Bill, I did so many nice things that I know hed be proud. I have 6 big picture boards of nothing but happy memories of his life. And yes you are all included. I have his p-51 there, I also have one that he is taking with him.

I can tell more at another time, Im just to sad now.

Guys, Thankyou for making that flight special, and keeping me and our 2 kids in your thoughts and prayers. We sure are going to need it.

Until next time…

and thankyou again!

I havent been in AH to get to know anyone very well other than a few of the AW old timers. I managed to wing with 68KO a few times and do a snapshot so I didnt get a chance to get very close. I was very honored to have flown in yesterdays memorial I was very touched at how close everyone here is. It is a privledge to play and fly with such outstanding people.

I have played about every online game there is to play and yesterday I have never seen soo much emotion. Even as a newb to AH I must say that this is a memory that is burnt in my heart and mind. It was a true pilots send off .

God bless you, and may you find some comfort in this tragedy, It was an Honor to be a part of the flyover, and reading your words, I am glad that we were able to perform a tribute, in ever how insignificant, it may seem to the outside world, it was grand in the Aces high community.
Floatsup
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

i would be honored if you would allow me to host this on my webserver (http://www.blametheisland.com)

also i am a director for youtube, i could put it  there, with all credits given of course.

its amazing how someone can become so attached.

la7, you may do what you want with this film. As well as anyone else. I made it to be a rememberance of the flight for the community. So it is the communities to do with it what they want. Thanks again everyone for the kind remarks on the film. 68KO

Excellent Movie

<>68KO

I remember 68KO as a stand out in Aces High.  An unusual leader, he started the "Alliance" missions, these were among the most memorable I have flown.  His accomplishments are very remarkable.  68KO
