From what I can say from experience is to stop your GV on any hard surface like the runway, tarmac (area in front of the hangers), or taxiways of a base.  I don't know about the roads leading to a base.  Hope I got that right.:aok

Safest spot to get a landed successfully for a vehicle is between the hangars on VBase - anywhere else on concrete is ok too though (regardless damage and enemy proximity).

You can land vehicles at the spawn points (yellow arrows on map), but there you have to be careful that you have no damage and there are no enemy vehicles in the proximity (im not sure on the range here).

On Airfields, landing on concrete will be successful. For ports its a little harder to judge, since you get a successful landings on some parts of the grass. Best bet would be to just make a few tests in OFFLINE or the TA if you want to be sure.

Alwas land on the concrete. If your driving to spawn to land and there are enemy tanks about and you have kills then drive way past the spawn point to land. There cannot be anyone for 6-K yards around you damaged or not.

As long as your in your own territory it doesn;t matter, there just can't b any tanks near you, or planes.

The glide slope for tanks is horrendous so landing one can be tricky. You need to touch down with a lot a of speed to avoid digging in and “pole vaulting” with the main gun.  Good news is that once your settled on the runway they have a short run out. Hope this helps.

Back behind the arrow and not in proximity to any enemy planes and/or vehicles.  If enemys are around you may have to drive well past the arrow along the spawn line to land safely.
