Just a heads up for North American racing nuts.

WTCC, probably only the hardcore racing fans eard about it in USA, but that's what we grow up with in Europe, our "Nascar" if I might say.

No V8 monsters, just 2.0L engines with a wealthy 275HP all FWD except the BWM. Races are usually quite spectacular, as are their national counterparts BTCC, DTCC ... High adrenaline aggressive short races. A race weekend is 2 cessions in a row of about 10 laps each.

The game recreates the series with dedication. Cars & tracks are endorsed by FIA's WTCC and Eurosport, featured by Topgears (http://www.topgear.com/content/features/stories/2006/12/stories/14/1.html ), driven by the real drivers ... blahblahblah.

At any rate, if you are into racing, those FWD cars are fun to drive, and WTCC provide closer races than LFS/GTR2/GTL (at least to my experience). The sim also comes with the Minicooper cup, and 2 cars from the 1987 season. More infos from the simbin website, check the track/car/video section.

The sim is not in store in USA, but available for download via Steam (think Half Life2).
