Country bias?
« on: January 14, 2007, 01:20:14 AM »
I just looked at my december stats and noticed something interesting:

Country    Kills As    Kills Of
Bishop        5            45
Knight        31           13
Rook          37           15

Country    Kills As    Kills Of
Bishop        0              27
Knight        70             0
Rook           0             43

Country    Kills As    Kills Of
Bishop         0           102
Knight        151          9
Rook           16          56

Country    Kills As    Kills Of
Bishop         1            73
Knight       130            1
Rook           0              57

Country    Kills As    Kills Of
Bishop        0              28
Knight        54             1
Rook           1             26

Not only does this show that I completley suck but also that in the last 3 of 4 tours I killed a significantly larger number of bishops than rooks. And its not just because they are easier to kill. I beleive I persue the Bishops with a vehemence I reserve for perverts and arsewholes in real life. Any of you feel biased to kill a certain country?

But surely you find yourself flying to one enemy base more than another?

I have both sides showing as RED...

Most of the time I dont know who I am shooting at...

On more than one occasion I have seen two reds fighting, and then realised that they were both from other sides...

I do, but its a matter of what map, and where the front lines are.  Every map has one or more "good spots" for fights.  Don't matter to me who owns it, if the front lines are there, that's where Ill be flying.

I have noticed that I have often killed more Bishes than Knits. I suppose they often have more players than than Knits during my usual flying hours.

I even switched countries once last week, I felt very cold and alone:confused:

Usually I won't even bother looking at the country icon next to the plane, unless I am just looking to see if the bad guys out in front of me are on different teams (i.e. am I looking at a bunch of Bishs, or a bunch of Bishs and Rooks?). Otherwise, like mussie said, if it's red, I'm gonna try and kill it.

Vot ve haf here is clearly a case of subdued hatred of ze male species.

For ze bishop is phallic representation of von's psyche, und ze qvest to destroy ze competition for ze fairer zex, no?

Or.. it culd be zat you find yourself encountering more of zese bishops as they, zemselves, strive to erradicate ze sub-conciously tagged 'studs' of ze virtual vorld, ze horsies. ( knights )

Or, it culd be zat you simply hang around with a bunch of bishop hating war mongers.

Have a nice day.

My bias is for rooks, meaning that when I switch to knits I usually fight bish & verse visa. I havent been playin much lately though(what an ironic quote for you to have in your sig drone).

I typically pursue the red icons with a little more malice than the green icons, although I will occasionally try to kill the green ones as well.
