When I put it on 60 fps max.  Even with the frame rate cap I still am getting 170-190 fps. before it totally locks up my system.  Only AH gives me problems.  All my other games are running beautifully. Waaaaa!

I've totally reformatted my system, taking it back to installing Windows.  Upon installation, I removed all the crap my pc came with(software).  I removed old stock vid driver & installed 84.66 driver for my 7600 GT OC.  I installed DirectX 9.0 & AH2.  I downloaded both AMD dual core patches.  Still a total no-go for Aces High.  I've got a very good film of what I see on my screen to send to Skuzzy if he'll look at it.  In video settings I set my max fps at 60, but I'm getting 175ish.  When everyone is warping on my screen, I'm told I'm warping on other people's screens as well, so it would seem a connection issue BUT when I hook up my old 1.5 Ghz P4 to the same cable modem, AH plays fine(but I only get 20-30 fps, which is the main reason I blew a grand on a new pc anyway!).  So it's not the connection.  I have 25 processes running & have the same AV & firewall that's on my old pc with the exact same settings.  There is absolutely no good reason why AH doesn't play right on this new pc, yet I still have total warpage each & every time I log on to try again.  As I stated earlier, all other games(IL-2, Red Orchestra, CoD2) run perfect.  

What would make everyone warp all over on my screen, and I on theirs, yet not be a connection issue?!?

If there is some program hogging your CPU and/or your net cponnection it wil lcause this. Please do this and post it here. Go to a command prompt. (Start->Run, enter CMD and press [Enter]), at the commant prompt type 'process > process.txt' (without the quotes) and post it here.

You stated that you had 30 pricesses before your re-install, that is way to many. You should be able to get down to 12-14 processes and successfully  run AH.

Had extream warping when I got my new PC. Fiddled with everthing for 3 weeks and nothing worked. Broke into the MoBo Bios and found that although the factory installed card was AGP the grafics was set to draw from PCI. Stuck out like a billboard the second I saw it.

May not be at the root of your problem. Hope you find your polderguist soon.

i have an idea (pulling at strings now...)
i'm not too sure if u want to do this, but try under clocking you vid card... (may void warranty)
i have a program that opens a clocking tab in the "nVidia Desplay settings"
like this...

If you want to try it here is the link for the program
X-Setup (8.1)

Instructions: once installed open the "Welcome to XQDC X-Setup Pro 8.1"
Click on the "Helper Applications" and go to "automatic updates" and update it (dont remember if this is necessary but do it anyways).
Close it. open up the welcome screen again and click on the "Classic"
Now you are at a new screen click on "Hardware>Video Cards>NVidia>Geforce" and click on the "GeForce Overclocker" you will get a new popup telling you that if you use it incorrectly it can have negative effects on your computer. click "yes".
Now at the top right put a checkmark in the box (uncheck to remove the tab later on). and close down the program,  you will get another popup asking you to reboot, click "no"
now go into the "nVidia Desplay settings" and go to the "Clock Frequency Setting tab" and now click on "manual overclocking" you will get another popup With "terms and conditions" scroll down and click "I accept".
(at first only lower or raise the "Memory Clock Frequency")

unless they moved it, it's a driver setting too...


try   Start/control panel/display/settings/advanced/GeForce 6XXX\performance and quality settings/view advanced settings/vertical sync
