Hi,
For some reason I always have a significant ammount of Video Mem free whenenver I play AH, even when there are so many objects around it turns AH into a slide show, there will still be at least 3k out of 9k vid mem still free. Is there a problem with my set-up, would this fix increase my FR?

I have a Voodoo 3 2000 on a PII 300 with 64MB of ram on a 56K connection.

No, that's normal to have some video memory remaining free.

The reason you are getting low fps is unfortunately your computer is at the low end of the system specs needed to play AH. A better video card would help, as would 128 Mb of RAM, but you are limited mainly by the 300 Mhz processor. (BTW: It is often possible to use a 500 Mhz Celeron and a socket 370 to slot 1 converter to replace the 300 P2. )

Hehe,
no need to worry now, I'm getting an Ath 1.2Gig, 256 MB Ram and a 32 mb grephics card

Within two weeks (If they deliver the damn thing in time) I'll never have to worry about FR again

Nope, no need to worry about FPS with that.
