Was it just me or did Paula Abdul look half snockered?

PS:  Jewel has sure put alot of money into refining her looks.  She is looking downright tasty for a 30 something.

They just wrapped a Minnesota tour, and throgh a friend one of her friends got PWNED on national television. She said he got set up, and usually, the lower judges send off some of the better talent, and allow the bad singers to move to the next part, by telling them they are actually really good.

So, when Simon get to them, and tears them to pieces, the singers are pretty surprised when they get berated. They pretty much get led on just so people can laugh at them later.

I know I suck at singing, regardless of what someone tells me, I guess others are more naive. In any event, it's a pretty rotten thing to do to someone who is serious about their dreams.
