We used to have a weekly Skuzzy-reset, but I haven´t seen it in the last weeks. Don´t we have them anymore? With the new war-winning rules (50% of both countries) in LW, I feel a bit stuck on maps.

Well, it appears I've made a fool of myself in other threads concerning winning resets. I said that hopefully we can still get weekly resets.

I Agree lusche these same maps over and over again are mega boring.

Think HT needs tro spice it up a bit.

Dang, the last two new terrains I added 21 days ago are already used up. Ok, that says we need to provide 2 new terrains every 20 days.

That's about 37 terrains a year. Ok you terrain makers, better get busy. I know it takes about a month to 6 weeks to get a terrain done, so who are the 4 or 5 folks willing to dedicate thier time to this endeavor?

Because if it is only HTC doing terrains, then we are looking at everything else being shut down. I know no one wants that.

why haven't I ever seen some of the best maps from the AvA in the MA arenas?

the finland map would be a blast with a couple of hundred ppl in it. even some of the PTO maps would be better if they had ma level planes in them

Im not after new Maps im after a different map one we havnt played on for a month or two instead of the same two maps in rotation we have at the moment. Or do all the maps have to be re done because of the new terrains?

I am pretty happy about the new terrains we have gotten into the game the last several months. I really do not see any reason to speed that process. I really do not understand why anyone would be complaining about it.

Eagler, the SEA/AvA terrains would have to be completely overhauled to meet main arena specs. None of them are balanced designs. Heck I believe they almost all have only fields for two countries. Most do not have functioning strat.

Then there are all the custom objects. Frame rate issues for many players would be a problem.

About the only thing we could use from the SEA terrains is the elevation data. Don't get me wrong, that is a good chunk of data to create from scratch. As a matter of fact, one of the new terrains was based on the elevation data from one of the SEA terrains.

This is confusing, I am not at the office yet, so I am going on memory, but there are currently 5 terrains in the rotation for the LW arenas. I think there are 4 for the MW and EW arenas. I am not sure what you mean by only two terrains in rotation.

I know there have been arena resets in the last few days, which brings up another terrain.

So, I am cinfused by what you are saying.

In late war orange which is the arena i play in most it feels like we have had the same maps in rotation for quite some time now the tank town one and the islands one they seem to have been going around for ages. Maybe i just havnt noticed the other ones or maybe i didnt play on them days wich is unlikely because i play everyday but i have only seen them two maps in late war orange. So what your saying is we still have all the maps from before the arena changes but they all get used in different arenas? and some maps dont make it into lw arenas because they arnt compatible? If that is the case then i do think we need more maps because we have been playing the same ones for ages now.

Making maps would cut into the Helicopter pilot lessons and the scotch consumption.........

Most of the arena resets were in EW & MW which

1) still have the 33% rule instead of 50% in LW

2) are low population numbers so that its often like 8 players on one side, 2 on the other and 0 on the third one. Pretty easy to reset with such numbers.

The most populated arena, Orange, wasn´t even near to being reset for quite a time (50% rule...)

I am quite happy with some of the recent added new map. I would just like to see them once in a while

Skuzzy, I think what most of us are trying to say is the same maps are in rotation for all Arenas which currently or at least lastnight all the arenas had the same map for couple of days now. The one with tank town. Everyone is getting tired of the same map. What I would like to see is different maps in rotation per arena. Meaning u have 4 maps for LWO and 4 different map in rotation for LWB and so on..

It's the Isles map in LWO again. I can not remember the last time it wasn't up in LWO.

Skuzzy, how many of these new terrains are in the rotation for LWO?

The tank town map in LWO has been up for at least two weeks straight without a change as far as i know.
Unless a new map was up and reset one day and i missed it?
