I don't like seeing planes crash, expesially the civilian one, the water tanker C130, and the P38, because you know, the pilot died and other on board died.

WTF was up with the B-52 at like 300ft doing? Don't you notice how all those Mig-29s and Su-27s crash at airshows.

I'm pretty sure that a few in game here knew that 38 pilot, maybe a more respectful approach to posting these could have been taken.  I think I remember this same video being posted here before, maybe you should do a search and see how people reacted!  By the way Sweet2th, I am not trying to say your intentions were disrespectful, just that this is an airplane game and many WWII enthusiasts and historians are a part of this community!   sir!

3 things here:

1.  I am at work and can't see the video so I am just guessing it's a real video of a 38 going in at an airshow.

2.  I thought I was being very respectful of you and even saluted you at the end of my post.

What you posted isn't 'just a game'. What you posted was film of the violent death of my fellow aviators set to 'catchy' music like some sports blooper reel.

I can only hope you are very young and will someday realize why the entire premise of that film is disrespectful to the dead and painful for their families and friends.

while it is a tasteless descision to post people dying in aircrashes on an aviation forum it is related to the suvject and it is most likely that the films will be interesting to a larger % of the population thatn those they offend.



i think sweet2th just saw this for the first time and was truly amazed at such footage and just wanted to share it.


i dont think he has been overtly laughing at the film, more of a ':O at the film look at these dudes wow, dont watch it if you dont like seeing p38s destroyed' type of statement.

Uhh...how does "All you P-38 fans should close your eyes at the very end." let you know you are about to see the last moments of several peoples lives?  I, for one, thought it was about a P-38 graveyard (badly damaged, poorly maintained planes etc.)

The firefighter aircraft alone is disturbing enough....

Even if the origional disclaimer wasn't enough for you, THE TITLE ABOVE THE VIDEO SAYS "Airplane Crash Compilation #1".  Didn't that clue you in.

Not to mention the fact that everyone here that thinks it's so "disrespectful", WATCHED IT TO THE END!  If it were so disrespectful, why didn't you just shut it off as soon as you realized what it was?!?
