Clasic! you, sir, are a hypocrite.  Everyone on this post so far has been giving their opinion but those that don't agree with you "are newbs and mornons!"

keep 'em coming, you're cheaper than a movie and the popcorn is free.

My original opinion(post) was extremely respectful in case you haven't read the entire thread, it was the newbs and morons that started the badmouthing!:aok

"""SKPG, I have always been very respectful of the loss of life when it is accidental or avoidable. On the other hand, I am usually pretty brash when it comes to debating weenies! This thread is a really good example of some thing simple that became far too complicated. All the guy did was find some footage he thought others might wish to watch, and post a link. He did not create the circumstances that led to the films creation, he did not film it, he is not profiting from it. He just wanted to share it. Nobody was forced to watch it. If your curiosity got the better of you, but you did not like it, turn it off.  End of story.

I'm sorry I must apologize... I am of the belief that there was no misrepresentation or crudeness in the original post, I respect your opinion, please do the same for others.

I haven't slept in quite a while and need some mindless entertainment to keep me awake.  If you want to continue please do, I'm sure most people are just skipping over this thread while a few are getting a little chuckle (or it might just be me) either way the ball is in your court.  we've all stated our opinion.

Read the first 5 posts in this thread and you will find who took it in this direction.  I was trying to be respectfully helpful to the chap about posting crashes of WWII warbirds as many in the community are fans and some even friends with those who maintain and fly them!  I always watch films that would offend some people because I am curious and can take it, but I would take a little time to word my introduction of the film to this community out of respect!  I even stated that I didnt think sweet2th was trying to be disrespectful, just that it might help to take it into consideration, next time!

Yep.  That pretty much sums it up.

Posting the film didn't cross the line of poor taste.  The reaction to Skyrock's 1st post certainly did.

This is exactly how your title and original posting came off to me!  Thank you for clearing this up for some of us! If you think watching a P-38 with a pilot inside cartwheel in flames down a runway at an airshow that is obviously put on for WWII air history buffs, is "kool" then it is your choice to enjoy! I am also a big fan of shock films!   Posting it in a forum where you know WWII air history buffs gather and saying it's "Kool" is just showing your immaturity and disrespect for some in here who may have known this guy or may have been following him and the plane as fans!  I liken it to going on a racing forum with many Dale fans and posting his crash and saying, "I just thought I'd share this with you cuz I thought it was kool!"  Besides, it's just my opinion on the matter anyway!

SKPG, again I ask you to refrain from manipulating my words!  Did you read my original post?  Are you mad at me about something other than this thread?  Why you would continually try and manipulate the point of my posts leaves me bewildered!  Why not stop before you get in over your head.  If you have a beef with me about what I said to you and your squad, then take it up in another thread!  That would be the "manly" thing to do!  I have no problems dealing with you man to man, just try and avoid weasling your squabbles with me into this thread!

Nice pipe!  But its not the design of the pipe that makes the pipe special.......it's what you smoke in it that makes it!  :D   Sweet2th, I really don't think you meant to disrespect people by posting the film, I was just trying t help you to understand that the WWII warbird community is/ and can be a very close community spread throughout the world!  Just a little forethought on respecting those who give their lives to keep those birds up and running for the rest of us to watch!  <> sir!:aok

I have no "beef" with you personally... it's your hollier than thou attitude and the fact that you seem to be the crusader of PC, in this thread anyway.  If you feel so strongly in your opinion you should have stated it once and let it stand on it's own strenght, that would be the "manly" thing to do.
Many people have said they came away from watching that video with something other than disgust and were not offended in the least, by the video or the way it was presented here.  I think ( forgive me if im wrong I still haven't slept) that sweet2th even apollogized if there were any offense.  But you don't see that, you keep harping "look at my first post, look at my first post!" who cares if he replied rudely to you, the "manly" thing to do would have been to ignore it if it were so immature to you.

and I never manipulated your words, I quoted you exactly as you posted them.. except for the "in other words....he started it"

One last thing and then I'll do my best to be the bigger man and let the whole thing drop....  Either you have some sick fascination with the taste of foot, with it being in your mouth once too often or you seriously have me confused with someone else.

I dont recall you saying anything to me or the squad I'm in... notice the vowels in my name and the lack of in SKPG, I dont know SKPG personally, spoke/flew with him a couple times I remember, seemed like an OK guy. But, I'm not SKPG and I doubt he wants to be confused with being me so.. before you get in over YOUR head, sir, you might want to get your facts straight before you open your mouth too wide and fall in.

We've all seen your opinion, since you take every oportunity to direct us back to it, but, as I said once before recently... I respect your opinion, please give the same respect to others.   if someone believes the original post was NOT offensive that is their opinion, right or wrong, good or bad.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer after I've gotten some desperatly needed rest :)

Or, we can both be "manly" men and let the whole thing drop and this thread with it, what do ya say?
