yep, seemed like a good game to me too.  toe to toe.  early on it looked bad for the Colts, but the 2nd half they just nailed it.   I think the Patriots lost that game when they had those two penalties back to back either towards the end of the 3rd quarter or at the beginning of the 4th quarter.
The only questionable play by the Colts I can recall was one touchdown where the ball got fumbled at the goal line and another guy scooped it up and then wriggled on the ground.  The only thing I saw in the end zone was his helmet.

That game was given to the Colts by the NFL.  Fact is, no one wanted to see another Patriots Super Bowl win.

Hey...are you trying to out-do Ripsnorts whining from last year ALREADY? Geez.
Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Colts won because time of possession.  I haven't seen the break down yet, but it seems like the Pats D was on the field forever.  The unit just started to break down (mentally/physically) and couldn't force three and out's.  As a Pats fan i'm sort of pissed, but not only going too, but winning three out of the past six Super Bowls aint 2 shabby.

I'll be pulling for the Colts in the SB.  Lord knows Peyton deserves it.

Colts outplayed them.  Nothing was "handed" to anyone, besides the patriots rear end. ;)

Colts won that one outright.

There were calls on both sides that had me scratching my head but over all it was fair.

I still think the one Pats touchdown should have been called back because the reciever had his heels out of bounds.

Or  the pass interference call that was picked up because "There was interference but not enough to make the call" BS.  The official saw interference so how can you over rule him?

Many calls not made but some how the Colts still won.

Pats D was on the field waaaay to long.  They came off the field and would have trainers working on them to get rid of cramps especially the RCA dome was warm.  The Pats offense didnt help the defense with the offense not on the field as long the Colts.  Fatigue, I feel, was a major issue in that game for the Pats.

Its those games I enjoy though, close games that come down to the last minutes of the game.

I can't stand watching these games, you get so caught up in it especially when it's your favorite team playing. You really badly want them to win and go to the biggest game in the NFL, so you really have a tough night with family staring at a box screaming at it. It's senseless, so I just watched Star Trek as Captain Kirk killed one of his crew members who turned into an "Evil God".

Yes, this was the classic, not the stinky re-makes.
