bombs
« on: January 23, 2007, 06:22:53 PM »
weird, once i was flying a close escort mission with a B24 in 8 player when the b24 pilot suddenly dropped the bombs. the bombs just went right through my plane. so i thought we make those bombs explode when dropped if they hit anything. in WWII it DID happened one or more time.

If Hitech can't do this because of too much graphics and details and change in game code, then oh wells i guess

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Turn Killshooter off.

We had a formation 'incident' in FSO several months back where my B26s were fragged by the guy above me in formation.

Funny as heck.. I released my bombs and then my plane started spinning..

Lol thats funny. I've done the same thing to. I think you have to turn off killshooter for that. I've had my bombers hit by friendly bombs before, its quite funny.

Actually, not the way the fuses should work.  But, a 500 pound bomb going through your airframe or wing is gonna take you out whether is explodes or not.

Not sure how the code works in game to setting off the bombs, with killshooter on or off...... is it an impact, or detonation.
