I have a sidewinder FF. It plugs into the game port. I was wondering if i could plug some pedals into the usb port, and map them to flaps or trim, ect. The rudder is fine the way it is. but ive ran out of fingers, and buttons. And my feet are just setting there doing nothing.

You should be able to mix and match your inputs in the AH stick selection however you want them.

Well the shot didnt shoot, so far. All the stores I went to stopped selling peddals, unless they came with a steering rig. One guy told me that windows wont recognise the peddles in most case,s.

Can enyone tell me if there is a peddle out there that will work with SW? I dont need to use it for rudders. I just want a couple more buttons.

easymo , I have been thinking about this all day (boring job thats what I have) I seen this in my surfing days and found it again this afternoon .

Here's the link .
 http://www.xkeys.com/

Go to products>X-Keys>Footpedal

Plus this guy tried to sell this on eBay

the hand version . Hope it helps ya , as I sure got a lot of great ideas on the BB and just want to give a little back .

Why
Use the
X-keys
Foot Pedal?

Simplify database and spreadsheet navigation by
using your foot to execute the tab, shift tab, and enter keys.

Program frequently used keys such as Shift, Backspace, Ctrl or Alt.

Keep your hands free! Great for standalone applications where only a few special keys or commands are needed.

also, if I remember right(am at work now, not at home), under Control Panel>>Game Controllers>>Properties there is a box to tick to let windows know that you have Rudder/Pedals.

may help, not sure...
