186 Kills in a 5" Twin Gun
« on: January 23, 2007, 07:36:30 PM »
Today I killed 186 planes in  5" Twin Gun off the CV. Has anyone heard of this before. I have a screen shot to show but don't know how to post it.

I most of the kills were of the "KER"

Thanks-StewyS

Did you use AP or HE rounds? AP, then that's impressive. If it's HE, well megadud can do that!

Sorry stewy, but people being too cartoon afraid to get in the air and fight is nothing new. Way to go on lowering the bar!

Yep Dreylock also got the bug at the same time Stewy did except he was in a Seafire. They were off the same player who was flying a Ju-88 formation. There is a thread in the Bug forum.

Thanks for that Golfer. I be sure to let my Down Syndrome son know that he is just ripe for ridicule, and that he's a joke, and investing any time in raising him and ensuring a good quality of life is a pointless futile exercise.

As the father of a son with autism I find anything like this revolting and lacking both class and compassion. Many families across America (and the world) are touched by this type of "tragedy". While in many ways its an uplifting and enlightening experience. It's also physically and emotionally draining. Primarily because we're constantly on guard since so many either thru ignorance or malice seek to paint our children with a broad brush.

So he didn't kill that many planes, but rather got that many kills from the one formation? That would have been a good bit of info to include.

It's been ages ago, but I got something in the neighborhood of 200 kills off one formation of B17s. I think it's a very sporadic bug with the formations and trying to bail.

edit: scratch that, it's obviously a bug with attached gunners. Kid has 283 deaths as a gunner.

Regardless of if he did or didn't I would like to think that MOST of the members of this site are astute enough (notice I didn't say politically correct enough) to know where the line is.

I'd say the post is over the line.

Of course that's just my opinion.

Deep breaths people. This isn't the first time someone has called someone else on the internet a retard, and it won't be the last. Just take care of your kids and let this one go. This was supposed to be a bug report, but stewy wasn't able to communicate that, and instead it was perceived as being a simpleminded boast. It's not worth any fuss.
