This would be a pretty cool seaplane, or cruiser launched airplane.

Crew:1 (says one but I see 2, must be another error in my book)
Powerplant: One 970hp BMW 132K 9-cylinder radial engine
Performance: Max speed 199mph; range 665miles; service ceiling 22,960ft
Armament: Two 20mm fixed foward-firing cannon in wing; one 7.92 (0.31in) machine guns in starboard side of forward fuselage; two 7.92 (0.31in) machine guns in rear cockpit; external ordnance up to 220Ib.

Says the Ar 196 is manoeuvrable, and could give a good account of itself when confronted by most allied fighters.

Yeah I know, just thought I post this. Flew this plane in CFS and had tons of fun with it.
