Please look at the rolling caps again

Pic says it all -

Some choice huh?

20 in EW (didn't check country #'s not interested)
16 in MW (didn't check country #'s not interested)
35 in LW2 (Blue) where ENY was already in effect for Bish and Knit

What happened to - "Aces High II is a massive multi-player online combat simulation "

What happened to - "Fight against hundreds of real players from around the world."

Well it was just I had an hour or so spare, thought I'd hop in for a wee while and ran into the above.

Hardly a  "Fight against 100's of players in a massive multi-player online game", is it?

First time I've really run into the problem though admitedly.

LOL thats what the numbers are like for most european players until like 11 oclock at night then its usually have a hour on the game and go to bed.

Shame really because during the day i have lots of spare time to play this game but i wont play untill later in the evening because the numbers suck.

Wish there was a answer, it used to be great with the one arena setup i could sign on anytime and find great numbers to play with/against but thats gone for good now unfortunatly.

It is still the best online ww2 sim out IMO.

i definitely agree with kev and fury, as a euro player i find this problem alot.

i usually manage to quiet my worries with my anti-whine mantra...

Maybe do away with 2 LW arenas and limit/cap the 1 remaining to encourage players to try out the EW and MW arenas?
Kinda like what happened the other night when the arenas were closed and everyone piled into AvA.  Most seemed to have lots of fun fighting there, so maybe it would work the same with the EW and MW arenas.
I would prefer to fly in either EW or MW, but with so few players currently there (and most that are in there just porking to pad their buff scores) it is almost impossible to find a fight when you only have an hour to two to play.

Maybe do away with 1 of the LW, the EW and MW. Go back to one large arena with a rollin plane set from early to late war. Keeping the 40/40/90 capture rules used today.

I know what he's talking about.  Yesterday afternoon I was in Orange arena and when I entered it was capped at around 320 and I was in a CV's 5" gun and mysteriously booted (used to never get booted) and it was a total AH program shutdown to desktop without any errors (never had one of those).  I immediately reloaded AH and logged in to see Orange arena capped at 120 with 121 in and the arena full message when I attempted to enter.  We are talking about 3 minutes maximum from when I was booted out and the re-entry attempt.  I also do not show a disco on my stats for this incident.  The orange arena is not my arena of choice as I like Midwar but when there are only 7-13 in the arena, I go elsewhere.

it will never really be fixed....

its even worse when you have one arena that is Knit/Bishland and another that is rookland. why not lump them all into one room, where sides will be relatively even?

rolling cap with its current coding does NOT work... it should be country numbers, not total numbers that are rolled.

No, it was about 4:00pm EST yesterday afternoon.  When I finally made it back in, folks were still in the mission that started just before I received the unpleasant disco.

Hey y'all i just came up with a new idea for aces high,

Lets put us all in one arena, use all our maps, and people do what people want to do:eek:
